Job Overview
This is a remote position in which you will need to bring your own laptop/PC to utilize company workspace for an online workflow. A reliable internet connection is a must. The Provider Service Representative position is process oriented with a case load that needs to be resolved daily. This process involves contacting doctor's offices via phone, fax, and email for medical records that need to be submitted to the patient's insurance company. Assigned workload then needs to be updated to reflect the new status. This position has one shift with hours of 9:00am - 5:30am EST with a thirty minute break.
Job Objectives
• Assists the case manager in carrying out prior authorizations and patient assistance in accordance with Company policies and procedures.
• Responsible for using systems to obtain patient and drug information and process cases.
• Communicates among many individuals, including patients, co-workers, insurance companies, and prescribers.
• Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Understands and follows applicable HIPAA regulations, professional standards, and ethical principles.
Requirements
• Proven internet download speeds of greater than 20Mbps and upload speed of 10Mbps via an online speed test ()
• Excellent telephony clarity and volume
• Excellent English speaker
• Proven work experience as a call center agent or other similar role.
• Ability to work with an internet-based workflow on a Microsoft or Mac based platform.
• Hands-on experience or ability to quickly learn software suites such as a CRM or call center operations.
• Organizational and time-management skills.
• Strong communication skills with a problem-solving attitude.
